Recipe(tried): Lavender Lemonade

LAVENDER LEMONADE

2 1/2 cups water
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp dried lavender flowers (pesticide free)
2 1/2 cups cold water
1 cup lemon juice
ice cubes (for serving)

In a large saucepan, bring the 2 1/2 cups water and sugar to a boil.

Remove from the heat, add the lavender. Cover and let stand for 1 hour.

Strain; discard the lavender. Stir in the 2 1/2 cups cold water and the lemon juice.

Serve over ice cubes.

Makes 4 servings
