Recipe(tried): Layered Black Bean Dip (from scratch)
Appetizers and Snacks Layered Black Bean Dip
Soak black beans overnight.
Cook until tender in water with:
1 can of seasoned tomatoes
onion, chopped
garlic, minced
chili powder, to taste
Drain after cooking. Puree beans in food processor until smooth, adding Tabasco, salt, and pepper to taste. Spread on your favorite rectangular dish.
Add, in layers:
sour cream
finely chopped black olives
salsa
grated cheddar cheese
guacamole
chopped green onions
Serve with nacho corn chips.....this is a winner!!!
