Recipe(tried): Barbecued Beef Sandwiches

Sandwiches
I don't know if you want anything this substantial or not. I've used
this recipe for graduation parties, birthday parties, tailgate parties,
and others. It's always received raves.

Barbecue Beef
5 lbs stew meat
1 (1lb.12oz)can tomatoes
2 chopped onions
4 minced cloves of garlic
1/2 cup worchestershire sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup vinegar
Dash of tabasco
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 to 1 quart water
1/2 cup brown sugar
Salt and pepper

Mix all the ingredients together in a steel or enamel pot. Cook slowly
uncovered for 12 to 16 hours, or until mixture is thick and meat shreds.

Note: I usually use at least some round steak. I've done it with sirloin.
It doubles or triples easily. There is a local bakery that will make
half size hamburger buns, which is what I usually serve this on.
