Recipe(tried): Left-over Ham

Ham Balls-(my favorite)

1 lb. ground ham
1 lb.ground pork (unseasoned)
1 sweet onion (medium) grind into ham and pork
1 cup (approximate) freah bread cubes.
2 eggs
1/2 to 1 cup milk (I've mever measured this- you need enough to make a very soft mixture that will retain its shape when it is formed into balls.)

Mix, adding milk as needed. Shape into balls using an ice cream scoop. Place in a greased 9x13 pan. Pour over sweet-sour syrup and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour. I usually roll the balls over about half way through.

Sweet-Sour Syrup
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tsp. dry mustard

Mix together and pour over ham balls.

These can be frozen and baked later.
