Recipe: Lemon Broccoli

LEMON BROCCOLI
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 6 minutes
Degree of difficulty: easy
Makes 6 servings

1 bag (16 oz.) fresh broccoli florets
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon lemon peel
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Place steamer basket in a saucepan. Add enough water to reach just under the
basket. Arrange broccoli in basket; cover and bring water to a boil. Cook
broccoli 3 to 4 minutes, just until tender. Microwave oil and garlic in
microwave-proof bowl on High 40 to 60 seconds, until garlic is fragrant. Stir in
lemon peel, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Add broccoli and toss.
