Recipe(tried): Love's Baked Beans

Side Dishes - Beans
Had a friend that managed a "Loves" -- long ago.
I liked the beans too this is what he gave me, back then.

**LOVE'S BAKED BEANS (for a crowd).

INGREDIENTS:

5 Lbs Canned Pork and Beans.
2 Med Bell Peppers (chopped).
1 Lb Brown Sugar.
14oz Bottle Catsup.
8 Slices Bacon (uncooked).

Liquid Smoke to taste.


INSTRUCTIONS:

Pre-Heat Oven to 325

Combine: All of the ingredients in a large baking pan.
(I personnaly like an aluminum throw-away pan for this recipe)

Top with bacon.

BAKE: at 325 for 2 hours, 15 minutes.

Will serve up to 20 people.

**NOTE:
This is reputed to be the recipe used by the LOVE'S RESTAURANTS of So. Calif.
