FYI: Having been a GM for Romanos Macaroi Grill's for several years I can tell you that the Dessert Ravioli DOES NOT contain actual snicker's bars. That would be infringement. It is however a sugar pastry containing our chocolate ganache, caramel, and nuts; then deep fried and served with vanilla bean ice cream and additional caramel sauce.
The recipe does taste similar to fried snickers bars but I just wanted to clear that up for the folks wanting to attempt the recipe so they did not follow the advice of so-called past employees (actual employees would know not to imply that we use snickers.) Real snickers bars would not give the creamy melty texture that makes the recipe great- I imagine they would make them much more coarse and gritty. All of our dishes are made completely fresh and from scratch every day here in our restaurants. Thank you for your interest.
p.s.- HAHA, we dont use graham crackers either.
