Recipe: Butterscotch Bridge Dessert (layered using cream cheese, pudding and Dream Whip)

BUTTERSCOTCH BRIDGE DESSERT

1ST LAYER:
1 cup flour
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
1 cup nuts, chopped

Mix together until crumbly, pat into bottom of pan 7x inch or larger than loaf pan.

Bake at 350 degrees 15 minutes. Let cool.

2ND LAYER:
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 envelope Dream Whip (mix with milk & vanilla) or ( Cool Whip)

Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until fluffy and fold in Dream Whip. Add to first layer.

3RD LAYER:
2 small (4-serving-size) boxes instant butterscotch pudding mix
3 cups milk

Mix butterscotch pudding mix with 3 cups milk and add to second layer. (Can use chocolate or lemon pudding.)

4TH LAYER:
1 envelope Dream Whip (mix with milk & vanilla)

Add to third layer. Put roasted coconut on top. (Roast coconut on cookie sheet in oven before adding to 4th layer.)
