Crystal Light drink mixes. They have only 5 calories per serving and no sugars,
carbs, cholesterol. For a punch you could mix the powder with just half of the
water called for and use diet 7-up for the rest, thus giving it a little
carbonation. Here's a punch I found in a diabetic cookbook. It's titled
holiday punch, but could be served anytime.
HOLIDAY PUNCH
3 1/2 cups sugar-free lemon-lime carbonated beverage (7-up)
2 1/2 cups reduced calorie cranberry juice cocktail
2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
Combine all ingredients in a punch bowl or pitcher, serve over ice.
Serving size: 1 cup= 1/2 fruit exchange
Carbs: 5 grams

Regular cranberry juice cocktail contains about three times as carbohydrate as
reduced calorie.
I really have not gotten into any treats yet, still trying to get established
on the basic diet. If I come across anything I think you could use, I will post
it. If you have any ideas about something specific you would like, I will try
to help.
Other than Betsy's reply about the diabetic link on TKL, I didn't get any
recipes or ideas. I really thought that with all the people who frequent this
site someone surely is diabetic or cooks for a diabetic spouse, and that they
would give me some great personal recipes. But no such luck.
