Med, I think your little memory
book would be a great idea, including
your parents wedding photo as one of the
chapters.

I'll post more 1950s info if you
would like.

I also was thinking about the M&Ms and
Cheerios, etc bar cookies. For example,
the Lone Ranger was the first advertising
'tool' for Cheerios. First on the radio and
then on television. Let me know.

If you made one or more of the 50s bar cookie
recipes in a BIG flat pan, then you could
cut the finished product into a big
"5" and "0" for 50 years, or into four
pieces "1," "9," "4," "9" for the year of
their wedding.

And, yes gramaj, isn't this fun stuff to
remember!!!! I had to do some searching,
but it was oh, so, fun.
