Congratulations on a long and happy marriage!
Your party sounds grand. My mother still has
her powder blue suit with the twelve or so
round buttons down the front, her pink
crocheted straw picture hat, her navy blue open
toe pumps and corsage. What a good idea to
duplicate it! I'll have to find out if my
father has his silk tie. My children could
wear these outfits at the reception as your
grandchildren did. Now that's a fresh idea!

I have compiled the music, photos, memory
books, and ordered the cake. This will be
a melancholy time for my folks, because my
brother's Air Guard unit has been called up
for deployment and he probably won't make it
for the celebration. I'll have to decide how
much my folks will be able to take with part
of their family missing. This is another
reason we've decided to have it at their church.
The only drawback for me is that they live 50
miles from me, and the party is on Sunday
afternoon. This will take split second timing
on my part to set it all up by 2:00 and have
it cleaned up by 5:00! Delegate, delegate.

The food ideas and fun approaches to a walk
down memory lane are wonderful. Thank you
all for taking the time to share them.
