Recipe(tried): My old faves from S. Africa were:

Misc.

1. Cheddar cheese, Marmite and lettuce
2. Marmite and tomato with black pepper
3. Smoked beef with sliced egg mayonnaise
4. Avocado, black olives, lettuce
5. Rare roast beef, pickled cucumbers and red horseradish
That's all I can remember. Most of these came from a shop called the Bread and
Butter that created the most imaginative combos. Have never had better
sandwiches anywhere!
