Here is my recipe for No-Bake Cookies
Remember let them boil for 1 minute only...watch and stir them and when they start to boil, time them for 1 minute, then take them off the heat and put in the rest of the ingredients..they will get hard. Remember you who all live down south where there is humidity, my sister lives in Florida and she says it is hard to get them to set down there because of the humidity. So if necessary, do it at the least humid time of the day for a good setting of the cookie...enjoy
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup margarine
2 tsp. of cocoa
1 1/2 cups quick oats
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
In a saucepan, mix together sugar, milk, margarine, and cocoa. Bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove pan from heat.
Stir in oats, peanut butter, and vanilla.
Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Put in refrigerator
