PEANUT BUTTER PIE WITH CHOCOLATE TOPPING
1 graham cracker crust
FOR THE FILLING:
1 cup powdered sugar
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup peanut butter
1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip, thawed
FO THE TOPPING:
1/3 bag chocolate chips
2 tbsp. butter
Cream together the sugar, cream cheese, peanut butter, Fold in the Cool Whip. Put in a graham cracker crust.
Melt chocolate chips with the butter in microwave. Let cool.
Pour over creamed mixture. Refrigerate until firm. Refrigerate leftovers.

I hope this recipe is close to the one you're looking for. There are several versions of this recipe. Using the same filling here are variations:
- top with chocolate frosting
- grate/shave chocolate on top
- spinkle chocolate chips on top
- sprinkle crushed peanuts on top
- swirl the melted chocolate into the filling
- spread the melted chocolate chip mixture over the pie crust before adding the filling
- instead of topping with chocolate, serve with chocolate syrup or hot fudge sauce
Other recipes use the same filling, freeze the pie (cover and freeze 4-6 hours or until firm). Serve frozen or thawed 20-30 minutes (just until easy to cut), or serve fully thawed; top with chocolate sauce.
