Recipe: No Ricotta Lasagna (using mozzarella and Velveeta)

Main Dishes - Pasta, Sauces
Edna, I'm not too sure about a lasagna made with Velveeta, but here's another recipe without ricotta.

NO RICOTTA LASAGNA

1 to 2 lb. hamburger
onion, chopped (optional)
1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. onion salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. pkg. lasagna noodles
1 (1 lb.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 lb. Velveeta cheese, shredded

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Brown hamburger and onion; drain.

Add to this the tomato paste, tomatoes, and spices. Let simmer while noodles cook in boiling water.

Put a little sauce in bottom of pan. Layer the ingredients (noodles, meat mixture, cheeses, and repeat ending with the meat mixture on top to prevent the noodles from becoming too crisp.)

Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
