Recipe: Outback Steakhouse Steak Rub

Toppings - Rubs and Marinades
Outback steak rub is basically a restaurant industry staple called tri-mix.
measure the following by volume:

70% kosher salt
25% ground white pepper
5% garlic powder

Pulverize this in a food processor or blender to reduce the size of the salt
particles. WATCH YOUR EYES WHEN YOU OPEN THE TOP OF THE PROCESSOR.

If you like the extra heat, add UP TO the same amount cayenne as garlic
powder. Outback seems to add some.

Rub this on before grilling.
