PEANUT BUTTER BURST COOKIES
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup Land O' Lakes sweet cream butter, softened
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg
1 (12 oz.) pkg. (2 cups) Nestle's peanut butter morsels
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
In large bowl, combine Land O' Lakes sweet cream butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla extract; beat at medium speed until creamy (about 3-5 minutes). Add egg; beat well. Turn in mixer to low; gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in Nestle's peanut butter morsels. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 7-9 minutes.
Cool on cookie sheets two minutes. Remove and cool completely. Cookies will be a pale color with light brown edge.
Makes 6 dozen (2 inch) cookies

Spread the peanut butter burst cookie dough into greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Cool; cut into thirty-five 2 inch squares.
