Recipe: Nacho Platter (Kraft Parmesan Cheese, 1981)

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup (2 oz.) Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 tablespoon chili powder
FOR SERVING:
Tortilla chips
2 cups shredded lettuce
1 cup chopped tomato
1 cup dairy sour cream
Brown meat; drain.
Add onion; cook until tender.
Stir in tomato sauce, cheese and chili powder. Cover; simmer 10 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Top tortilla chips with lettuce, tomato, meat mixture and sour cream.
TO COOK IN A MICROWAVE:
Crumble meat in 2-quart casserole or bowl. Add onion; microwave on High 5 minutes or until meat loses pink color when stirred. Drain. Stir in tomato sauce, cheese and chili powder; microwave 4 to 6 minutes or until hot, stirring after 3 minutes, Continue as directed.
