Recipe: Peanut Gravy (using peanut butter)

Toppings - Sauces and Gravies
Peanut Gravy

2 cups water
1/4 cup natural peanut butter
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. sweet basil

Bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Combine the remaining ingredients in a separate container and mix thoroughly to remove all lumps. Pour into boiling water. Return ingredients to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

TIP: Add a tsp. or two of soy sauce if desired.
