Preserving - Pickles, Relishes
Hi Joy, My mother in law gave this recipe to me for hot peppers and I used it for sweet green peppers also..My family loves both and very easy.. This is also my first time at posting a recipe so I hope I did it right...

1 quart water
1 quart vinegar
3 cups sugar

Bring them to Boil...Meanwhile scald peppers that have been cleaned and seeded and slice and pack full into hot jars. After peppers are in jars add:

1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 Tbls oil
1 clove garlic

Pour water, vinegar, sugar solution on peppers and seal..

** If using hot peppers remember to wear gloves when taking out seeds...
