Recipe(tried): Cabbage Stuffed Hot Peppers (canning recipe)

Preserving - Pickles, Relishes
CABBAGE STUFFED HOT PEPPERS

1 bushel hot peppers
1 or 2 heads of cabbage
3 cups vinegar
2 cups sugar
1 cup water

Clean hot peppers, remove seeds.
Shred cabbage fine.
Stuff cabbage into hot peppers.

Mix vinegar, sugar and water in pot and heat until it comes to a boil or until sugar is disolved completely.

Place stuffed peppers in jars, and pour liquied mixture over top. Leaving about 1 inch head space. Place lids and rings on jars and place in a hot water bath for about 30 minutes after water comes to a boil.

Peppers will have a sweet and sour taste with a touch of hot taste to them. My 5 year old loves to eat them out of the jar.
