Recipe(tried): Pico de Gallo/Mashed Avocado Dip

Misc.
Hello Elizabeth:
I m not sure about the Salsa you are talking about, because
I haven t been there. But I m from Mexico and I can tell you
about "Pico de Gallo", a tipical Salsa here, and very easy.
You have to chop tomatoes, onion, cilantro (I don t know the
name in English is a green herb) and a chile, It would depend
on how hot you want the sauce, and that s it. it is more like dry. If you want the sause more liquid, you can put it in the blender but not too blended
(if you want to blend it you can put a dash of salt and pepper).

Another idea for a Dip is: a mashed Avocado (it most be
soft, then peel it, and with a fork mash it is not the same if
you blend it,) and then, include the other chopped
ingredients: Tomato, Onion, cilantro, chile
salt if you think it needs it. This is a good dip for fritos, or
fries.
