Recipe(tried): Pierogies - using egg roll wrappers

Side Dishes - Assorted
Dear Janet,

I haven't seen recipes for making pasta in a bread machine. I suppose because the dough cycles all have a "rise" feature and pasta doesn't need that. If you're looking for convenience, why not try egg roll wrappers? My friend, who is Czechoslovakian and not Polish, makes them with squares of pasta. She folds them diagonally and then wets, folds and pinches the edges to seal the ingredients. Her family calls them "flags." You could do the same thing with egg roll wrappers, which are square. The other thing you could do is put two pot sticker skins together to make round pierogies. I'm a big fan of these premade pastas because I often just don't have the time to make my own pasta. I hope these suggestions work for you.
