Pi a Colada - The Relaxing Puerto Rican Drink
Puerto Rico is the birthplace of the Pi a Colada. Yet this drink has an international fan club in every corner of our planet. The blend of pineapple and coconut cream is sublime, with or without the Rum. Perfect for relaxing moments in good company, and as refreshing as a tropical Caribbean breeze.

15 ozs. Coconut Cream (Coco L pez is really good)
30 ozs. White Rum of Puerto Rico (NOT Gold)
45 ozs. Pineapple Juice, unsweetened

Place the contents of the Cream of Coconut into a large bowl. Add the 30 ozs. of white rum. Add the 45 ozs. of unsweetened pineapple juice. Mix it all well. Reserve in the refrigerator (preferably in a covered bottle). At serving time, shake the bottle very well, and serve the drink over ice cubes.

Proportions in order to make other amounts of the Pi a Colada are: 1 part Coconut Cream, 2 parts white rum, and 3 parts pineapple juice.
