Wonderful Watermelon Pie - No bake EASY
(See below for strawberry variation)

A pretty, pink pie perfect, for people with a sweet tooth. (This is a personal favorite of mine).

Makes 8 servings

1 container (12 ounces) frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
1 box (3 ounces) watermelon-flavored gelatin
((**Note: I use any red-colored Jello))
1/4 cup water
2 cups watermelon balls
9-inch crumb pie shell

In large bowl, fold whipped topping, gelatin and water together. Fold in watermelon balls. Spoon into crumb pie shell. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

**I made this pie yesterday using strawberries instead of watermelon. I used strawberry Jell-O. Instead of the water, I used kahula flavored extract (like the kind made for coffee). I am sure you could do this same pie using cherries or other fresh fruit.

For a green touch, embellish the pie with fresh mint leaves before serving.
