A friend brought me this bread YEARS ago. I don't make it too often as I can't leave it alone.....but it is great with homemade soups, or just with honey!
GULLET BREAD
Make a soft dough of:
3 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 Tbsp baking powder
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 1/8 cup milk
3/4 cup oil
Knead a few times and form into rounds.
Place on a greased baking sheet. Flatten to a thickness of 1 1/2 inch. Poke many holes with a fork.
Bake in a 400 degree F oven for 25 minutes.
