BEGINNER BISCUITS
"A quick trick to teach your daughter. Just score the dough and the biscuits break off into bite-size pieces."
1/2 cup orange marmalade
2 tbsp soft butter or margarine
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup cold water
Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
Mix marmalade and butter; spread in square pan, 8x8x2-inches; set aside.
Stir (dry) baking mix and water to a soft dough. Gently smooth dough into a ball on floured cloth-covered board. Knead 5 limes.
Roll dough into an 8-inch square; place on marmalade mixture in pan. Pat dough evenly into corners; cut into 36 squares.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Invert onto heatproof plate. Serve warm
Makes 3 dozen biscuits
