PORK MOZZARELLA
1 pouch Campbell's Dry Onion Soup and Recipe Mix
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 egg (or 2 egg whites)
2 tablespoons water
6 boneless pork chops, 3/4 inch thick, (about 1 1/2 pounds)
1 1/2 cups Prego Traditional Spaghetti Sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Crush soup mix in pouch with rolling pin. Mix soup mix, bread crumbs and pepper on plate.
Mix egg and water in shallow dish.
Dip chops into egg mixture. Coat with crumb mixture. Place chops in 2-quart shallow baking dish.
Bake at 400 degrees F. for 20 minutes.
Pour spaghetti sauce over chops. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 5 minutes more or until chops are done and no longer pink.
