1 sirloin tip roast or boneless chuck
roast
1 can Coca Cola
1 med. cut up onions
15 oz. can sm. whole potatoes
15 oz. can fingerling carrots or
sliced carrots
4 oz. can chopped mushrooms
Wash meat and place in crock pot; add onion and Coke and salt and pepper to taste. Cook on high for 6-8 hours. In last hour, add potatoes, carrots, and mushrooms and let entire meal cook at least another hour. Meat should fall apart. If you want to cook it on low, it will take around 12 hours. For leftovers, add tomatoes, corn, celery, beans; whatever. Add a gravy mix and you have a good stew or soup.
COCA-COLA POT ROAST
1 pot roast
2 cans stewed tomatoes
2 onions, sliced
3 carrots, chopped
Salt and pepper
Thyme
2 bay leaves
1 can Coca-Cola Classic
In a large skillet, brown the meat all around. Add 3 cups of water and the sliced onions and let it simmer for 1 hour at medium heat. Then add the tomatoes, Coke, carrots, thyme and bay leaves and cook for another 1/2 hour until tender. Add salt and pepper to taste and slice it.
CROCKERY BARBECUED BEEF
3/4 c. cola (not diet)
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. instant beef bouillon granules
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
1 (1 1/2 lb.) boneless beef chuck
roast
2 med. onions, chopped
1/2 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. margarine or butter
For cooking liquid, in a bowl combine cola, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, garlic, bouillon granules, mustard, chili powder and red pepper. Reserve 1/2 cup cooking liquid for sauce. Trim excess fat from meat. Cut meat to fit into a 3 1/2 to 4 quart crock pot. Place onions and meat in crock pot. Pour remaining cooking liquid over meat. Cover and cook 10 to 12 hours on low heat setting or 5 to 6 hours on high heat setting. Meanwhile, for sauce, in a small saucepan, combine the 1/2 cup reserved cooking liquid, ketchup and margarine; heat through. Set sauce aside. Transfer meat to cutting board and shred. Discard cooking liquid. Serve meat on bread; pass sauce. Serves 6.
SPICY POT ROAST
3 lb. rolled bottom roast (I use
regular pot roast, boneless)
1 can Coca Cola
1 (12 oz.) jar Heinz chili sauce
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. Tabasco sauce
Rub with salt, pepper, garlic powder and brown on all sides in black skillet with a little Wesson oil. Mix together: Pour over browned roast. Cook: covered in black skillet 325 degrees for 2 hours and 45 minutes. Dutch oven with lid eliminates bubbling over you might have with skillet. I always serve mashed potatoes but rice or noodles would be good, too. (Sauce is a little runny.)

1/2 onion, sliced
1 pkg. onion soup mix
5-6 lb. beef roast

Put onion on pan bottom. Put in roast. Pour remaining ingredients over roast. Add about 2 1/2 cups cola. Bake until tender or about 2 hours at 325 degrees or bake overnight at 225 degrees.

Combine salt, pepper, garlic salt and rub over roast. Brown roast on all sides in vegetable oil in a Dutch oven. Drain off drippings, combine other ingredients and pour over roast. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours.
