Hi. I make fried wontons filled with chopped asparagus, bean sprouts, faux crab meat (krab), and mushrooms. The flavour is enhanced by a sauce containing soy sauce and ginger. I know you were looking for something non-traditional, and while this does get you an oriental flavour, the ingredients are pretty much standard fare. Hope this helps.
