Recipe(tried): quick munchies
Appetizers and SnacksADVERTISEMENT
hi, movie-lovers,
we did an impromptu Happy Fiscal New Year party at work this week. a couple of things from that might work for you:
1. Apples quartered and sprinkled with lemon juice (to prevent browning). served with a dish of caramel dip in the center of the platter.
2. flour tortillas spread with cream cheese, dill, and shredded cheddar cheese. Roll them up jelly-roll-style and slice into thick, finger-food chunks.
We also had sharp, homemade pickles and good, huge stuffed olives.
our soon-to-be-retired grandma-type lady did a choco-cherry snacking cake. some body got bakery-shop hamburger buns for our Girl Scout Sloppy Joes. and our intern from Bangladesh brought Fritoes. Our boss brought in matching paper plates and paper napkins with gorgeous iris flowers all over them.
we had a swell time.
what movies are you watching?
