Recipe(tried): regarding the amount of applesauce for the ornaments
Misc. Judy,
I am sorry that I was not more detalied. I usually get the large jar of applesauce. Unfortunately, I do not have one on hand at the moment to tell you the exact amount in the jar. But, I can tell you that I approximate the amount of applesauce used would be about 2 cups, but like I said add it slowly until it forms a pretty stiff dough, kind of like playdough that sat out for a few hours. It should roll out very easily but not stick to the rolling pin or cookie cutters. Feel free to use flour or cinnamon to dust your work surface. I hope that this answers your question. It is also nice to add some to presents you might give for the holidays.
