Recipe(tried): Apple Cinnamon Christmas Ornaments

I was a Girl Scout for many years and we made these every year to sell at our bake sales. They were always a hit. This year I am going to make them with my 2 year old. This is for a big batch so feel free to halve it.

Apple Cinnamon Christmas Ornaments

1 cup of cinnamon
1 jar Applesauce

Put the cinnamon in a bowl add applesauce slowly mixing after each addition until it forms a stiff dough. Roll out like to 1/2 inch thick and cut with cookie cutters. Put a hole in the top. Let dry on newspaper or paper towels until completely dry, approximately 1 week. Add colorful ribbon to match your tree and enjoy your delicious smelling home made ornaments.
