Recipe: Rice Pilaf with Orzo

Rice Pilaf with Orzo
rec.food.recipes/Luckytrim/2002

1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/4 cup orzo (rice shaped pasta)
3/8 cup butter
2 cup rice (Uncle Ben's converted, not instant)
2 cup chicken broth
2 cup water
2 Tbsp. salt (or to taste)

Melt butter and mix with oil. Saute orzo in a little butter and oil. Reserve. Saute the rice in the butter and oil until it is a a little brown. Add broth, salt and water to rice. Bring to a boil and cool 10 minutes. Add orzo to rice. Cook another 10-12 minutes until rice is cooked.
