Recipe(tried): Sauerkraut and Noodles (family fave) for Gloria

Sauerkraut and Noodles

This is an old polish comfort food recipe long enjoyed by my family.

1 lb of bacon browned and crumbled
bacon drippings
1 stick of butter
1 lb of kraut
one large bag of egg noodles boiled until al dente

combine the cooked noodles with the hot bacon drippings, butter, & kraut. If too dry, add another stick of butter. Heat well and add crumbled bacon, lots of black pepper, and salt to taste. May add caraway seed if you wish. We like it without.
