Recipe: Sesame Beef Steaks with Savory Seasoning

SESAME BEEF STEAKS

2 beef Strip Steaks Boneless, cut 1-inch thick (about 10 ounces each)
SAVORY SEASONING:
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper

Combine seasoning ingredients in small bowl; press evenly onto beef steaks.

Place steaks on grid over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill, covered, 11 to 14 minutes (over medium heat on preheated gas grill, 11 to 15 minutes) for medium rare (145 degrees F) to medium (160 degrees F) doneness, turning occasionally.

Carve steaks into slices.

Makes 4 servings
