Recipe: Sherbet Smoothies (blender or food processor)
BeveragesSHERBET SMOOTHIES
2 pints (4 cups) lemon sherbet, softened
1 1/2 cups cold milk
2 cups frozen fruit, such as peaches, blueberries or raspberries
In blender or food processor, combine all ingredients. Blend until smooth.
Serve immediately in chilled glasses.
PRESENTATION:
Garnish with fresh mint. Serve a variety of sherbet smoothies with various toppings such as granola, chocolate chips, flaked coconut or cookie crumbs for a "make your own" sherbet cup.
Makes 6-8 servings
