Recipe: Shrimp Dip (8 recipes using cream of shrimp soup)

CREAMY SHRIMP DIP

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of shrimp soup
1 small can shrimp, drained
4 green onions, sliced

Mix together softened cream cheese, soup, shrimp and onions. Can be served cold or heated through in microwave with fresh vegetables or crackers.

DELICIOUS SHRIMP DIP

1 can cream of shrimp soup
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, cubed
3 green onions, chopped coarsely
1 can baby cocktail shrimp

Mix cream cheese with soup. Microwave on high for 5 minutes. Stir. Then add shrimp and onions. Serve with crackers.

SHRIMP DIP

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 can cream of shrimp soup
1 tsp. lemon juice
Dash of garlic powder
Dash of paprika (opt.)
Sm. can of shrimp

Blend cream cheese and then add all ingredients except shrimp. Fold in shrimp and chill. Recipe can be doubled as this makes approximately 2 1/2 cups.

HOT SHRIMP DIP

1 can cream of shrimp soup
1/2 onion, chopped fine
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
3 tbsp. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. cooking sherry
1 1/2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1/4 tbsp. garlic powder
Dash of Tabasco
Paprika

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blend and beat soup, cream cheese, mayonnaise, sherry, and Tabasco until smooth. Put in casserole. Top with Parmesan, garlic and paprika. Bake at 350 degrees until brown, about 25 minutes.

SHRIMP DIP

Beat together with electric mixer until smooth: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 can Campbell's cream of shrimp soup

Add: 1 sm. can broken shrimp
1 tsp. lemon juice
1-2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. paprika

Mix well and refrigerate until firm. Use waffle potato chips or fresh vegetables.

HOT SHRIMP DIP WITH HORSERADISH

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of shrimp soup
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. prepared horseradish
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Heat cheese until soft, blend in cream of shrimp soup, sour cream, horseradish and Worcestershire sauce. Transfer to fondue pot or any container with low heat to keep warm. Garnish with whole shrimp and crackers or bread cubes.

SHRIMP DIP

1 can Campbell's cream of shrimp soup
1 sm. can baby shrimp
2 pkgs. (8 or 9 oz.) cream cheese

Cream cheese should be left at room temperature for about an hour. Mix cream soup with cheese until soft. Now mix in the small can of shrimp. Chill for an hour or so. Now serve. Can be used as a spread also. Now serve with any kind of crackers.

SHRIMP DIP

1 can Campbell's cream of shrimp soup
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 sm. can of shrimp, drained
A little onion, chopped fine
A little bell pepper, chopped fine

Soften cream cheese and soup in bowl in microwave. Stir in onion, pepper and shrimp. Serve with crackers or chips.
