Recipe(tried): Soft Gingersnaps
Misc. Soft Gingersnaps:
1-1/2 cups shortening
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup molasses
4 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons ginger
Cream together shortening, sugar, and eggs. Add
molasses. Blend together dry ingredients and add to molasses mixture. Roll into balls or drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet and bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 8 minutes.
