Recipe(tried): SPAGHETTI PIE
MenusHeat a little olive oil or butter in a skillet. With a knife, gently cut up the pasta in its storage container before adding it (roughly 3-4") it doesn't have to be precision.
Add pasta to skillet, stir about and add tomato sauce to moisten it thoroughly. Add some chopped veggies and/or frozen peas and cover and simmer until veggies are done. Season to taste. Pour into a large pie plate. Sprinkle with grated mozaralla and Parmesan, bake at 350 deg. F until cheese is melted and slightly browned. Sprinkle with basil or oregano before serving and have with salad and bread, or whatever.
OR just saute the pasta in the butter and/or olive oil, season with herbs and pepper to taste and toss with Parmesan until the cheese is crispy, sprinkle with poppy seeds and have as a brunch side dish with eggs.
