Recipe: Speedy Baked Beans (using bacon and chili sauce) (serves 24)

SPEEDY BAKED BEANS

1 pound bacon, diced
2 large onions, finely chopped (2 cups)
3 cans (55 ounces each) baked beans with pork
1 cup chili sauce
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon mustard

Cook bacon and onions in Dutch oven or roaster over medium heat, stirring constantly, until bacon is crisp. Spoon drippings from Dutch oven; discard.

Stir remaining ingredients into bacon mixture. Heat until bubbly; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered about 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until heated through.

Makes 24 servings
