Recipe: Spreads for Quick Breads (Bisquick, 1983)

SPREADS FOR QUICK BREADS

FRUITED CREAM CHEESE SPREAD
Makes 1 1/4 cups spread

Beat in small bowl on medium speed until fluffy:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup peach or apricot preserves or orange marmalade

LEMON CREAM CHEESE SPREAD
Makes 1 cup spread

Beat in small bowl on medium speed until fluffy:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 tablespoon lemon juice

WHIPPED CINNAMON BUTTER
Makes 1 cup spread

Beat in small bowl on medium speed until fluffy:
1 cup margarine or butter, softened
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

WHIPPED HONEY-ORANGE BUTTER
Makes 1 cup spread

Beat in small bowl on medium speed until fluffy:
1 cup margarine or butter, softened
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons grated orange peel
