Recipe: Sticky Chicken Drumsticks

Main Dishes - Chicken, Poultry
STICKY CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS

2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons sweet chile sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
3 1/2 pounds skinless chicken drumsticks
2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Put the honey, chile sauce, ketchup, and soy sauces in a large nonreactive dish and stir together.

Cut two to three slits across each drumstick with a knife. Coat the drumsticks in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight. Turn in the marinade 2 to 3 times.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the chicken and put them on the sheet.

Bake for 45 minutes or until cooked and golden, turning and brushing with the marinade 2 to 3 times. Serve warm or cold.

Makes 4 servings
