Strawberry Hot Fudge Cake
rec.food.baking/ Steve (S.C.)/2002
This is a very simple recipe; everything packaged, but put it all together and it is De-Lish.
1-box strawberry cake mix
1 stick margarine
3 large eggs
1 1/3 cups milk
1/3 cup oil
1/2 cup strawberry preserves
-------
1 container hot fudge
1 can strawberry frosting
Mix the above ingredients except the hot-fudge and frosting, with electric mixer on high speed, until nice and thick.
Bake in a greased or sprayed 9x13-inch cake pan, following the cake mix box directions for time and temperature.
When cake is finished, let cool for about 10 minutes.
Poke 24 holes doing it in a 6x4 design (I use the end of a wooden spoon). Fill those holes with heated hot fudge until full (reserve some hot fudge for top).
Once cake is completely cooled, frost with the strawberry frosting, and drizzle with more hot fudge.
