Recipe: Apricot Glazed Ham Patties (using ground ham and blue cheese)

APRICOT GLAZED HAM PATTIES

FOR THE PATTIES:
1 1/2 lb ground cooked ham
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp prepared mustard, divided use
1/4 tsp sage
1/4 tsp pepper
FOR THE APRICOT GLAZE:
1/2 cup apricot preserves
2 tsp vinegar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine ham with crumbs, milk, eggs, onion, cheese, Worcestershire, 1 tsp mustard, sage and pepper. Shape into 6 patties. Place in shallow baking dish.

Bake 30 minutes.

Combine preserves, vinegar and remaining mustard; brush on patties.

Bake 10 more minutes.

Servings: 6
