Desserts - Pies and Tarts
Hi Theresa,

Except for the vanilla wafer crust, this recipe looks close to what you're looking for.

STRAWBERRY PINEAPPLE CREAM PIE
Posted by: Debbie.D.,.AL

2 9-inch pie shells, baked
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 small can crushed pineapple
2 eggs
1 3 oz. pkg. strawberry Jello
1 large can evaporated milk, chilled

Mix sugar, pineapple, and eggs in a boiler and bring to a boil. Remove from stove and add Jello. Place in pan of ice water to cool.

Beat chilled milk until very thick, combine with cooled mixture.

Mix well and pour into pie shells.

Place in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.

Yield: 2 pies.

If it's not the one, please let us know and we'll keep looking.

Happy Cooking,

Betsy
