Recipe(tried): Stuffed Beef Loaf

Stuffed Beef Loaf
Yield: 10 to 12 servings

2 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 lb. mildly seasoned bulk sausage
1 medium potato, peeled and grated
1 cup bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup finely chopped ham
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine first 7 ingredients; mix well. Shape into a 16x10 inch rectangle on aluminum foil or waxed paper.

Combine the remaining ingredients; spread evently over beef mixture. Roll jellyroll fashion, beginning at the short side, lifting paper to help roll.

Place seam side down on a shallow baking pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
