Recipe: Stuffed Dates

Stuffed Dates (Pitted)

1. With Fondant:
Fill with Fondant Butter Frosting (letting it slightly project) and insert a pecan or half walnut. (Opt:) Roll in granulated sugar and serve on a bonbon dish.

2. With Coconut:
Fill as above and roll in coconut that has been processed in blender till fine.

3. With Nuts:
Fill cavities with English walnuts, blanched almonds, pecans or a mixture of chopped nuts. Shape in original form, roll in granulated or powdered sugar and serve.

4. Almond Paste:
Soften paste, fill and serve.

5. Appetizers:
Fill with any Creamed Cheese mixture. example:

Pimento
olive, black or green
jalapenos
Bacon crumbles --- etc.

Note: Keep cheese filled dates under refrigeration till serving.
