I bake bread quite regularly, with and without a bread machine. I was very pleased with the results of this recipe (Sullivan Street No Knead Bread).
I used 1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 unbleached white flour, and added sliced green olives after the first rise, while in the process of folding over the dough. I have a Le Creuset pot with lid I used to bake the bread.
The bread turned out like a ciabbata-type bread, very airy and crunchy. I will definitely do this again, maybe try some rye flour as well.
cheers!
Carolyn!
