Recipe(tried): Sunday Dinner at Our House - Brown Sugar Ham

Menus
Hi, everyone! Kristin is home for the holidays, the tree is still standing(!), and I cooked an old-fashioned "dinner" today.

For lunch we had: Brown-Sugar Ham, cauliflower, macaroni and cheese, CLAUSSEN Pickles, rolls, Peanut Butter Blossoms, Sand Tarts, and sweet tea with lemon.

BROWN SUGAR HAM

1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup Coke
1 cup 7-Up or Sprite
1 7-8 lb. ham (I used Hamilton's Lower Sodium Ham --the butt portion)

Since I was going to bake cookies, I made this in my AROMA Roaster--which is a cousin to a NESCO Roaster.

Rinse ham well. Spray roaster with PAM. Put ham into the roaster and set the temperature at 30 degrees. Pat the brown sugar on to the outside of the ham. Let the brown sugar melt into the ham which takes about 30 minutes. Pour the Coke and Sprite into the roaster after the brown sugar has melted. Let the ham cook for 1 1/2- 2 hours at 300 degrees.

Let the ham "rest" for 15-20 minutes before slicing.

Happy holidays!
